Gather around the table for a heartwarming evening of creativity and holiday cheer at our Christmas Ornament Hand-building Workshop. Join me for a festive evening at the North Preston Community Centre where I will lead a special workshop on hand-building Christmas ornaments. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to create unique, handcrafted decorations and gifts while also supporting a great cause.
How to Participate:
This event is a cash only, pay what you can (PWYC), in person at the studio. All profits from the event go to support youth and fellow artists so please consider donating the cost of a similar workshop ($40) or more if your are in a position to do so.
Spaces are limited to ensure a personalized experience, so early registration is encouraged.
Workshop Overview:
In this hands-on workshop, participants will have the opportunity to hand-build and decorate Christmas ornaments using up to 1lb of clay. Darren will guide you through various hand-building techniques to shape and decorate your pieces, making each one a unique expression of your creativity. Whether you're a seasoned potter or a beginner, this workshop is designed to inspire joy and foster a warm, communal atmosphere.
Materials Provided:
All necessary materials, including clay, tools, and decorative supplies, will be provided. Participants are only asked to bring their creativity and festive spirit! - and snacks if desired :-)
Supporting Youth & the Arts:
Proceeds from the workshop will contribute to a new scholarship program initiated by me (via the NSPG) aimed at supporting emerging artists and youth in the arts. By participating, you're not only making beautiful ornaments but also helping to nurture the artistic talents of young individuals in our community.
Come craft some holiday cheer with us and help make a difference in the lives of aspiring young artists!
