Join the Nova Scotia Potters Guild to participate in our guild orders and receive discounts and shipping advantages.

Finding ceramic supplies in Nova Scotia can be a challenge. A new feature for our membership, we invite all members to participate in our communal orders to Tuckers, Sial, and PSH.

Members are notified by our internal email service whenever a new order is scheduled.

Please note, the guild is not affiliated with any of the below listed companies, this page is for index and reference purposes only.

How does it work?

Place your orders online since it’s easier for them to identify and sort our orders.

Please use NSPG in the shipping address line as well as in the comment section.

Ensure that your invoice is paid in full no later than two days after receipt. If your invoice has not been paid by then the supplier will be advised to remove your order from the group order and will be shipped separately, at a greater shipping cost to you.

The group orders are designed for members who need smaller quantities of materials and are not intended to replace large orders typically delivered directly to studios.

Orders will be delivered to Day & Ross in Burnside.

Please reach out if you have any questions. Natalie Burns, NSPG Supply Coordinator. 902-240-4453

Natalie plays a crucial role in managing these group orders. Her responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with suppliers.

  • Confirming delivery dates.

  • Notifying guild members of pick-up times.

  • Ensuring that members receive the correct items on the pick-up day.

Please Note: Natalie’s Role Does Not Include:

  • Breaking down bulk orders or organizing individual orders.

  • Lifting heavy boxes of clay.

  • Resolving ongoing disputes or tracking down missing items from individual orders.

Member Responsibilities:

  • Please ensure that you can lift your own boxes into your vehicle or bring someone who can assist with this.

  • Please be prepared to identify and collect your specific items from the pallet, as suppliers may not group the same clay bodies together.

Special Considerations:

  • If you have ordered a large number of boxes, please inform Natalie in advance. It’s essential that you arrive early on pick-up day with your helper to ensure a quick and efficient process for everyone.

Respectful Conduct: Rude and disrespectful behaviour towards Natalie (or any other NSPG volunteer/member) throughout the process and during pick-up, will not be tolerated and will result in your removal from any future group orders and relinquishment of your NSPG membership.

A Community Effort: Your cooperation is vital for the continued success of these group orders and we wish to invoke the spirit of collaboration on pick-up days, ensuring the process runs smoothly for everyone. If you are participating in a group order, please consider contributing some of your time to assist Natalie and your fellow NSPG members.
