25 local birds of 14 different species are featured along with the 4 seasons represented by snowflakes and leaves with colours of the fall, spring, and summer. The intent of the piece is to QUAFF! To Drink it ALL IN!! as in the letter carried by the raven to the goldfinch drinking at the bird bath urging us all to celebrate every season.

 The sole Bird without colour stands in contrast to the variety of the birds and their many colours.
