The thing that many of us miss in our studio practice is feedback that is both informed and honest (in a nice way!) And something that most of us like to do is get together with other potters to talk clay and eat.  So, from time to time, the Guild has a Feedback Feast.

At a Feedback Feast, we gather for a potluck meal, and some informal critique.  Besides your contribution to the meal, bring along a couple of pieces of your work - maybe something new you’d like some feedback on, maybe something you are having trouble with, and would like some advice, maybe something you’re really proud of, and would like to share with your fellow potters. This is a free event and all members are welcome.  

The next Feedback Feast is at 12:30 on Sunday, November 12, at Perfect Diversity Clay Art Studio in New Glasgow.  A new studio that has a paint your own section and fully equipped pottery studio, and a coffee shop.  To learn more go to their website :  http://perfectdiversity.com/index.html

We’ll up the fun by having an entirely optional mug exchange.  Bring a mug, and leave with a mug, or if you like, don’t bring a mug, but maybe you’ll wish you did!

Don’t have any work you want to bring, either to show or exchange?  Please feel free to come anyway, to meet and eat with some fellow potters, and see what they are doing.
