Gerri Frager, Natural Whorlds Pottery
Spry Bay, Nova Scotia
Working in clay, I love sharing year-round access to our natural world by incorporating seaweed, flowers, etc in my pots.
Retired from 20+ years of work as a pediatrician leading the IWK’s Pediatric Palliative Care Service and Professor and Director of Dalhousie University’s Humanities HEALS Program in Halifax, I now live on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, where I have my home and pottery studio. Pottersfield Press published my book, Signs of Life: Images Formed from Words and Clay, which shares my poems each coupled with an image of my pottery. All book sales proceeds are donated to: The Refugee Emergency Fund through ISANS (Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia).
Note about the accompanying poem:
The poem + image of the piece, ICU, was published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal
