Teresa Bergen

(Near) Chester, NS

Teresa Bergen studied at Langara College in Vancouver and completed a BFA at NSCAD University Halifax, did a Residency at KIAC, Yukon, built a kiln and began an independent practice on a rock pile outside Dawson City. The adventure continues in her home studio near Chester, NS where she maintains a full time pottery business and teaches workshops.

Her work has been Exhibited across North America and in Asia, is included in the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia’s permanent collection and the Kamm Teapot collection. She is the recipient of numerous awards including Arts NS Creation Grants and Purchase Award.
