Piano playing, dog fancying, plant fiend. I make functional hand built and wheel thrown pottery in my home studio overlooking the Minas Basin in Habitant, Kings County. I share my studio space with other potters through Open Studio rentals and teach classes and workshops for up to 6 participants during the winter months.
I make thrown and hand-built functional pieces with mid-fire stoneware. My ideas for pots are heavily influenced by pottery found in museums and archaeological records, particularly the medieval period.
I sell at craft fairs and take commissions for individual pieces and sets.
