Artist’s Statement (meaning/inspiration, etc.): Preening and prancing the colorful male attracts a mate.  Everybody say love.  Recycled clay, glaze, and vintage decals.  Oxidation electric firing, 1945, 2232, 1252°F

Artist’s Statement (meaning/inspiration, etc.): Echoing the building process of the bee, this porcelain sculpture shows the translucency of the honeycomb.  Translucent porcelain, glaze, wood, plastic, paint, lighting system.
